GLORY exists to provide a voice for gays and lesbians in the sport of sailing and to encourage and assist individual sailors, clubs and teams.


Sailing is now officially one of the sports at the 2010 Gay Games in Cologne, Germany

We're in! Many thanks to all those who made this happen. The next AGM of the FGG will be held in Cologne in September-October.

GLORY Applies for Federation of Gay Games Membership
With the success of the sailing regatta in Sydney in 2002, Chicgo in 2006 and the proposal for the inclusion of sailing in Cologne in 2010, we feel we have a proven track record with FGG that follows our remit to promote LGBT sailing. Becoming a member organisation will enable GLORY to have a greater say in the site selction process in the future.

 Chicago Gay Games Declared Financial Success

One year after Chicago hosted nearly 12,000 sport and cultural participants at the 2006 Gay Games®, Chicago Games, Inc., (CGI) the host organization for the event, announced today that it has completed the post-Games fundraising and wind down process and that the 2006 Gay Games broke even.
